WRAS Approved Taps

Approvals

What is WRAS?

WRAS ( Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) is the approval scheme of the UK Water Industry, which ensures that products approved by the scheme have been shown to comply with the requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 and amendments.

WRAS Approval, we felt, was the best way to show compliance with the scheme, as it is accepted by every water supplier in the UK.

To receive WRAS approval, each component of the sensor tap must be tested.  Metal components are tested for mechanical and water quality, whereas non-metallic components such as the 'O' ring, are simply tested on their effect on water quality.

What does this mean to the specifier?

Using WRAS approved taps, offers the specifier peace of mind, as every component in the tap, has been rigorously tested to meet the highest quality standards.

Looking for WRAS approved taps? Look no further.  Lovair's whole range of sensor taps are now fully WRAS Approved.

A few samples of our range can be viewed here and here.

WRAS certificates for all our range are available on request, just drop us a line or send us an email.
